چکیده
To further improve the performance of cavity-enhanced spectroscopy systems, a high-quality U-cavity system was established. In process experiment, an asymmetric ripple effect, which is different from previous etalon found, seriously affects spectral system. This unique phenomenon mainly manifests in amplitudes fluctuations curves measured by folding mirror and end Based on multi-beam interference theory, we analyzed characteristics transmission spectrum each presence effect at mirror, obtained following conclusions: for system, strength inversely proportional to its loss value, that is, larger loss, smaller spectrum, vice versa. order eliminate this most effective way caused light feedback mirror. Optical-feedback cavity-enhanced absorption spectroscopy with a quantum cascade laser.
Optical-feedback cavity-enhanced absorption spectroscopy is demonstrated in the mid-IR by using a quantum cascade laser (emitting at 4.46 μm). The laser linewidth reduction and frequency locking by selective optical feedback from the resonant cavity field turns out to be particularly advantageous in this spectral range: It allows strong cavity transmission, which compensates for low light sensi...

A high-finesse optical cavity was employed to perform highly sensitive spectroscopy of molecular oxygen at wavelengths near 763 nm. An equivalent absorption length of ;1 km was obtained by a 26-cm-long optical cavity with a finesse of 6000. An extended cavity diode laser was frequency locked to the cavity, and pure absorption profiles were recovered by monitoring of the cavity transmission duri...
متن کاملCavity-enhanced spectroscopy in optical fibers.
Cavity-enhanced methods have been extended to fiber optics by use of fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) as reflectors. High-finesse fiber cavities were fabricated from FBGs made in both germanium/boron-co-doped photosensitive fiber and hydrogen-loaded Corning SMF-28 fiber. Optical losses in these cavities were determined from the measured Fabry-Perot transmission spectra and cavity ring-down spectrosc...
